Bio
Amulya is a belly dancer born in The Netherlands but currently living in Northern Rivers, Australia. She has always been creative, loved drawing and painting when she was a kid and teenager, but when she discovered belly dance she was immediately impressed by this beautiful dance style. Although she studied many different dancing styles troughout her life (like ballet, Latin and ballroom dance, Bharat Natyam and Indian folkloric dances), her major interest is still belly dance.
In 1995 she began teaching and performing belly dance in The Netherlands. Later in 1998 Amulya went India to study Indian dancing styles. Her latest interest is tribaret style, a combination of classical belly dance and tribal fusion. Amulya designs and creates her own costumes.
